Untitled

From all the stars in the sky
any can be picked out
just for you
one...by...one,
if that is
what you like.

With more chosen
than you can keep
hidden in the black pockets
of your spring jacket,
even if those two sly hands
were ever out.

Leaving the remainder
scattered across the vast
open skies above with the others,
will you remember which of those
were deemed yours forever?

trance on a train.

Trance on a Train

All of a sudden,
a gust of autum leaves
passed by on the adjacent tracks.

It had awakening me from a trance,
before I could even be startled.

Looking to see where it came from,
scouting all the trees that pass,
in and out of view,
of the tiny window of the world.

I begin to focus on one tree,
and follow it with my eye,
as it comes and goes.

Gradually focusing on the particulars of details,
staring at the long branch of a tree,
then staring at the rare lush green leaf,
til all I see of the world is nothing but green.

Its then I wonder,
what am I doing on the train again?

how does air flow
is it through or on, nothing that is
maybe the question
the one I should be asking
is where is it going?

is the breathe I’m taking
the same one you are exhaling?
in and out with ease
no need to remember
‘cos you simply can’t forget

isn’t it wondrous how its all contained
with the sky opened
no cages above our heads
and yet, it chooses always
to remain here.

Untitled

For things rearrange
becoming all to strange
certain days don’t seem the same
as I would had thought.

If I must see
what is in front me
I have to open the eyes
to things that will blind me.

Who would had thought
ideas no one knows else
just as mysterious as time
and it's reasons that keeps it going.

Pleases for me
the words that someone may speak
the truth or lies that are plenty
there is not one that appeases me.

For today
I want to rearrange
day into night, night into day
these extremities of my life.

Untitled

my senses are as
dull as a plastic knife
that can barely cut through the meat
for me to see the bones and guts
of life.

Another Untitled Poem

given how time keeps moving,
not stopping even for a minute second,
with its gait at a constant pace,
going further and further away,
yet, its steps can always be heard,
as if its right there next to you.

Untitled Poem

given all the minutes from a day,
which ones are for sleeping?

with so much to do, so much to read, so much to eat,
what time is left for resting?

eyes pried open, to see all the colors of daylight
change into darkness.

only when it all becomes too overwhelming,
do I dare to dream without sadness.

Smoking kills.
Originally uploaded by actimation.
apparently, the HKSAR goverment is pretty blunt.

sunset on the trail (again!!!)
Originally uploaded by actimation.
If I had taken the camera a second later, I would had missed the sun.
of the 200 pics I've taken during the three day excursion, this is THE pic!

Sunset on the trail.

Sometimes, I think I shouldn't bother to take photos if I'm going to make the scenery appear ugly.

Pretty leaves.
Originally uploaded by actimation.
Someone said that the sway of leaves resembled butterflies flapping their wings. I think I could see the metaphor.

View of Lai Chi Wo (again!)
Originally uploaded by actimation.
And on the third and final day...there was sun!

Wild cows.
Originally uploaded by actimation.
Eventhough cow dung was everywhere, its still better than having bears around!

Tree bark...
Originally uploaded by actimation.
the tree itself was pretty intresting, with its roots growing on the outside surronding the tree (as opposed to growing within the ground). I wish the pic was sharper though.

Top view of Lai Chi Wo
Originally uploaded by actimation.
Kind of cloudy, but the view was still better than decent.

My lil cousin...
Originally uploaded by actimation.
this probably looks perverted, but I think its hilarious and adorable. he looked more cute with his pants down to the knees and bare bottom showing. good thing he's doesn't know about this site or else.

Pier to Lai Chi Wo
Originally uploaded by actimation.
with not a soul anywhere in sight, it was so nice to hear the water walk up to the shore.
trying to be "artistic" with my photos.

Lai Chi Wo Village...
Originally uploaded by actimation.
Its virtually abandoned, there are some natives who've returned and still lived there. Apparently, most villagers have immigrated to the UK or Holland.
